Help us do our part to end hunger in our community and around the world. The 36th annual Durham CROP Hunger Walk is set for Sunday, March 21st at Duke Chapel. Registration is at 1:30pm, and the walk starts at 2:30pm.

What is CROP? Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty. The event combines fun and fundraising to help hungry people throughout the world. We invite you to sponsor the Urban Ministries of Durham CROP team or to join our team of walkers.
Who benefits from the walk? 75% of the funds raised goes toward hunger-relief efforts in 80 different countries, including the U.S. 25% of the funds are distributed to hunger-fighting agencies in Durham, such as Urban Ministries of Durham.
As many as 4,000 people from communities of faith, schools, universities, local businesses, neighborhood associations, non-profits and many others come together in the 8k (approx. 4.8 miles) walk in the fight against hunger.

The Durham CROP Walk is delighted to have NBC17 Meteorologist, Bill Reh, as emcee, and Mayor Pro-Tem, Cora Cole-McFadden, as guest speaker for the event.
Music will be provided by the Durham Community Concert Band, and Wool E. Bull will make a special guest appearance for the kids.
Don't miss the pre-walk warm-up by Move It Be Fit personal trainers and the fantastically fun finish as the Durham Divas and Dude Senior Cheerleaders rally walkers crossing the finish line.
